MaxYourSpace is your chance to get empty extra seats next to you to enjoy maximum comfort.

How does MaxYourSpace work?

It's a simple 3-step process:

    1. Select a flight and your desired extra seats;
    2. Submit your request and wait;
    3. You'll be informed approximately 19 hours before departure if your request is accepted.

What is the price of Extra seats with MaxYourSpace?

Starting at 19 SGD, prices may vary depending on route. Detailed in the process, the more extra seats you request the cheaper the extra seat.

There are no additional fees whatsoever.
You will only be charged if & when an extra seat is accepted. A declined request won't cost you anything.

Please note that your MaxYourSpace payment may be subjected to applicable bank charges from your card issuing bank.

Under what specific circumstances is MaxYourSpace offered and/or granted?

The MaxYourSpace service is only available if:

    - You are an Economy passenger with a valid Scoot booking;
    - There are available seats.

Who is eligible for MaxYourSpace?

Economy passengers with a valid Scoot booking, flying on Scoot routes. Some Scoot routes may be excluded.

What are the terms and conditions tied to MaxYourSpace?

Why are extra seats with MaxYourSpace not guaranteed? What does the confirmation depend on?

Extra seats with MaxYourSpace are not guaranteed because availability depends on other passenger's requests and amount of seats available.

What's the difference between buying an additional standard seat and the MaxYourSpace service?

Unlike additional standard seats, extra seats with MaxYourSpace are never guaranteed and subject to last days availability and therefore much cheaper. Once you have booked your flight, you can request extra seats at a discounted price. You'll get notified shortly before departure.

Who provides this service?

This service is provided by Scoot and ChangeYourFlight SL and can be requested on maxyourspace.flyscoot.com, after having purchased an economy class flight (Fly, FlyBag & FlyBagEat) with Scoot.

Extra seats with MaxYourSpace come at a great price because they are subject to availability and confirmed shortly before departure.

THE PROCESS

Is there a deadline for making a MaxYourSpace request?

The deadline for placing a MaxYourSpace is 19 hours before scheduled departure.

Can I make a MaxYourSpace request only for one of my flights?

Yes, you can request for different flights individually but only as long as none of the requests on the same booking have been accepted or declined.

Can I modify my MaxYourSpace request?

Once the request is made, it cannot be modified or cancelled.

Can I cancel my MaxYourSpace request?

Once the request is made, it cannot be modified or cancelled.

What happens if my MaxYourSpace request is accepted?

If your request is accepted, your Scoot booking will be renewed accordingly and you will enjoy the comfort of one or more free seats next to you!

Am I guaranteed the accepted extra seat(s) will be free at departure?

You should have the accepted extra-seats free and next to you. In the unlikely event the accepted seats end-up being occupied (for example if cabin crew requires so) you will be receive a full refund. In this case, please contact our support team at Contact us.

Does an extra seat include any other amenities such as extra-bag or meal?

No. An accepted MaxYourSpace request only includes the seat(s) as per detailed in the request.

What happens if my MaxYourSpace request is declined?

If your request is declined, your Scoot booking remains unchanged and you won't be charged anything.

Can I do a new MaxYourSpace request after it was declined?

No, once your request is declined you won't be able to place a new request for the same flight. However, you can place a request for any remaining eligible flights on the same booking.

When do I pay?

Payment is finalized only if and when your MaxYourSpace request is accepted. You will be automatically charged the corresponding amount, following the payment details you indicated when making your request.

When will I know if my MaxYourSpace request is accepted or declined?

You'll be notified by email shortly before departure. The notification is approximately 19 hours before scheduled departure.

What happens if I already purchased a seat assignment?

If your request is accepted and you had already purchased Super seats, the seat assignment will be maintained in the same seat category and zone.

We're multiple passengers travelling on the same booking, would we still be seated together?

Your request would only be approved if we manage to accommodate you to the same row and group of seats. In no case would your request go through if it meant separating passengers on the same booking.

What happens if I placed a request for both Bid for ScootPlus and MaxYourSpace?

If your Bid for ScootPlus is Accepted, the MaxYourSpace request will be automatically cancelled. If your Bid for ScootPlus is Declined, and enough economy seats are available, you'll be assigned the MaxYourSpace extra seat.
In any case, you would be charged a maximum of one service only.

PAYMENT AND SECURITY

How can I view the status of my MaxYourSpace request?

You can view it anytime by entering your details on the MaxYourSpace homepage at maxyourspace.flyscoot.com

Are there any hidden fees?

There are no hidden fees whatsoever. The service you get is the only service you pay for. The full price is the one indicated when you made the request. If your request is rejected you don't have to pay anything.

Please note that your MaxYourSpace payment may be subjected to applicable bank charges from your card issuing bank.

Are my payment details stored safely?

Yes, your payment details are stored safely at all times while your request is being processed, according to the international payment standards and laws that prevail.
